Lena Full Face Mask
Details
Reliable at High Pressure Too
LENA is a full face mask developed specifically for ventilation therapy. Engineered around a perfect seal under high pressures, it combines a double-lip cushion, a robust cushion-to-body connection, and stable headgear β so patients breathe comfortably and clinicians can rely on consistent therapy delivery.
Mask Cushion
Double-lip design creates an air-cushion seal from therapy pressure β no pressure points, no leaks.
CushionβBody Connection
Stable under constant high pressure and BiLevel swings, yet easy to disassemble for cleaning.
Headgear
Sturdy material with adjustable forehead support keeps the mask leak-free under high pressure differences.
Double-Lip Cushion Seal
Therapy pressure inflates the double lip to form a perfect anatomical seal β eliminating pressure sores.
Quiet, Diffuse Exhalation
Specially designed vent system disperses exhaled air silently β for a peaceful night for patient and bed partner.
Ball-and-Socket Joint
Flexible connector accommodates natural head movement during sleep without breaking the seal.
Integrated Oβ Connection
Built-in port for supplemental oxygen supply β no adapters needed, ready for combined therapy.
Colour-Coded Headgear
Intuitive colour coding makes fitting simple and consistent β even in low light conditions.
Vented & Non-Vented Versions
Available in both vented (home) and non-vented (clinical/hospital) configurations for every care setting.
LENA β Standard Vented
Ideal for home CPAP and BiLevel therapy. The integrated diffuse vent port ensures quiet exhalation for home environments.
LENA NV β Clinical / Hospital
Non-vented version for clinical and hospital ventilation where an active exhalation valve on the ventilator circuit is used.

Mask Design & Engineering
- Double-Lip Cushion: Therapy pressure inflates the inner lip to self-seal against the face β the higher the pressure, the better the seal. Anatomically shaped from years of patient face data and continuous market feedback.
- Stable Cushion-Body Connection: Engineered to remain leak-free under both sustained high pressure and rapid BiLevel pressure swings β while still releasing quickly for easy cleaning and reassembly.
- Sturdy Headgear Material: The straps maintain tension without distorting, keeping the mask stable and leak-free even at high pressure differentials between inspiration and expiration.
- Adjustable Forehead Support: Individual forehead pad and cushion provides extra stability and reduces bridge-of-nose pressure for extended wear.
- Ball-and-Socket Joint: Rotatable connector lets the mask follow natural head movements without tugging on the headgear or breaking the seal.
- Quiet Diffuse Vent: Exhalation ports are designed to scatter airflow silently β minimising noise and draught for patients sharing a bed.
- Integrated Oβ Port: Built-in connection for supplemental oxygen supply, enabling combined ventilation and oxygen therapy without extra adapters.

Usage & Medical Information
Indications for Use
LENA is designed for patients with respiratory insufficiency or sleep-related breathing disorders requiring positive airway pressure therapy. Suitable for both home CPAP/BiLevel therapy and hospital ventilation. For spontaneously breathing adult patients.
Fitting & Setup
Use the LΓΆwenstein fitting template to select the correct size (S, M, or L). Attach the mask to the circuit tubing, position on the face, and secure the colour-coded headgear straps. Adjust the forehead support for additional stability. Connect oxygen supply to the integrated Oβ port if prescribed.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Disassemble the cushion from the mask body after each session for cleaning. Wash all patient-contact components with mild soap and warm water daily. Refer to the LENA Instructions for Use and the LΓΆwenstein Cleaning Instructions brochure for full protocols including hospital disinfection procedures.
