Indications for Use
CARA is designed for adult patients with sleep-related breathing disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) requiring positive airway pressure therapy (CPAP/APAP/BiLevel). Intended for homecare use as part of a prescribed therapy programme.
Fitting & Setup
Use the Löwenstein CARA Fitting Template to select the correct size (XS, S/M, M/L, or XL). Position the mask cushion over the nose, connect to the therapy device circuit, and secure the headgear straps for a gentle but airtight fit. Adjust straps until the seal is comfortable and leak-free.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Disassemble the mask cushion from the mask body after each session. Wash all patient-contact components daily with mild soap and warm water. Refer to the CARA Instructions for Use and the Löwenstein Cleaning Instructions brochure for full cleaning and disinfection protocols.
